How can I best prepare for being in Colorado's high-elevation environment?
The Stage Execution Workshop in hosted beautiful Colorado, and we want you to be prepared for this environment. Below are a few tips:
- Colorado is known to change weather conditions at a moment’s notice, so bring clothes you can layer.
- We are also at a much higher altitude than you may be used to at home. Some folks get winded more easily, while others may experience more noticeable symptoms such as headaches or nausea. You can combat these effects by drinking extra water in the days before you arrive and abstaining from alcoholic beverages during your stay.
- Colorado is also a very dry climate. Therefore, you may want to bring (or purchase on arrival) lotion and chapstick to help make sure you’re as comfortable as possible during your workshop time. And drink plenty of water!!!
